The Liffey's South Bank looking up river from the Millennium Bridge. This is one of Dublin's best views; architecturally diverse yet with a concurrent theme and proportion. This view contains some of the city’s most celebrated architectural gems (The Clarence Hotel and The Sunlight Building) as well as the most controversial; the City Council Offices at Wood Quay.The sky is so reminiscent of a typical grey Dublin day; yet no one ever looks up to see how wonderfully ominous the clouds really are.

A rare view of Mount Brandon, Dingle Peninsula, free of cloud. This was taken on a beautiful Easter Sunday in 1997; I had to climb another mountain to get a better view; I swear I nearly had a coronary! But it was worth it.

An early morning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains looking north from the 650 mile long Blue Ridge Park Way. Alt about 2500 ft. A beautiful, verdant, tranquil American landscape that dissipates into the blue haze. 

South Carolina Plantation Gardens; 106f 100% humidity; spiders the size of your hand, allegators in the ponds, hauntingly beautiful. I was visiting Charlestown with my brother Peter and his family who live in SC.
