These are two views of the sub-tropical gardens that surround the Minack Theatre; a famous open air theatre that overlooks the Atlantic at St. Leven. Posted by Picasa

St. Leven Beach looking north west towards the cliffs at Porthgwarra. Posted by Picasa

This is two views of Cornwall's version of "The Beach"; Porthcurno, just south of Land's End.

The water really is this colour and the sand is soft and pale yellow.

On the healand in the distance is the Logan Rock, a sixty six ton stone that will rock gently with just one finger.

Locally they call it Green Bay. It's other claim to fame is that this is where 10 undersea cables that cross the world come ashore. Posted by Picasa

The Liffey's South Bank looking up river from the Millennium Bridge. This is one of Dublin's best views; architecturally diverse yet with a concurrent theme and proportion. This view contains some of the city’s most celebrated architectural gems (The Clarence Hotel and The Sunlight Building) as well as the most controversial; the City Council Offices at Wood Quay. The sky is so reminiscent of a typical grey Dublin day; yet no one ever looks up to see how wonderfully ominous the clouds really are. A bit postcardy but a view of my favourite beach; Constantine, North Cornwall. Posted by Picasa

The Bridge over the Otter at Otterton, South Devon, slow exposure. Posted by Picasa

The Bridge on Wool, Wadebridge, Cornwall at sunset. The narrower arches are from the Medieval Bridge, the wider from the 1960 widening. Posted by Picasa

A tranquil pastorial scene; the River Liffey at Island Bridge looking towards Chapleizod, Dublin. Posted by Picasa

A rare view of Mount Brandon, Dingle Peninsula, free of cloud. This was taken on a beautiful Easter Sunday in 1997; I had to climb another mountain to get a better view; I swear I nearly had a coronary! But it was worth it. Posted by Picasa

An evening view of the Atlantic Ocean taken from near Stepper Point, Padstow, North Cornwall with a Cornish Ketch sailing home. I love the sea on balmy warm evening, it has a colour and texture like beaten gun metal Posted by Picasa

An early morning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains looking north from the 650 mile long Blue Ridge Park Way. Alt about 2500 ft. A beautiful, verdant, tranquil American landscape that dissipates into the blue haze. Posted by Picasa

South Carolina Plantation Gardens; 106f 100% humidity; spiders the size of your hand, allegators in the ponds, hauntingly beautiful. I was visiting Charlestown with my brother Peter and his family who live in SC. Posted by Picasa

This is a May sunset at my favourite beach in Cornwall, taken in 1998. Posted by Picasa
